Converting an Opportunity to a Quote in SAP Sales Cloud

This is a demonstration to show how to convert an opportunity to a quote and to further explain the sales cycle and the business process. I've already created a lead and turned it into an opportunity. I've also created a number of sales activities based on the sales assistant. You can see several tasks and appointments shown on the screen. When sales activities are being created, it's triggering parallel to this process a documentation which you can find under the document flow facet. Under this facet, you'll find all the activities that have been made in the previous steps. You can click on the tags to see more information, for example, the lead. Now I would like to convert this opportunity to a sales quotation. I'm going to click on the sales documents facet to create a new quote and then on the add new sales quote button directly from the opportunity. You'll see that all the information from the opportunity has been copied over into the quote as well as the product. I'm going to add one more product to this quote. This product is a water bottle cage, which will be added in the same amount as the already added product. Then I'm going to save and open. As the quote has been saved, I'll see some system messages about the price listing, which means that with SAP S/4HANA, I could also price the products that are involved in this quote. Now you've seen how you can create a sales quote from an opportunity.
