Converting an Opportunity to a Quote in SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Let's take a look how we can qualify an opportunity and send a quote to the customer to finalize a deal. Here at my dashboard I can go through the tile my opportunities and jump to all my opportunities. Now I see all my 1000 opportunities. I can filter them down very quickly by account or by sales cycle or close date to just a couple of them. It goes really really fast as you can see. So let's select just the ones end of October and I'm going to see have only two opportunities here from the thousand. For sure there are many different ways to filter my Kanban board. I can also use a graphical filter here where I can just see the ones that are in process and then also the ones that are closed in October and I have a different set of three here. In case I want to move on one opportunity to another phase, I can just drag and drop it to a different phase instead of setting some attributes. When I do a click on any of the opportunities, I have a quick view here where I can see in one view all the important details. Even tasks are part of the opportunities, so I can close from here. I see the machine learning data and the key factors influencing the score, the score trend, and also all the engagements I had here. Like for example here four days ago we had a phone call and today it was written in email. So I really see everything is going on. On the timeline also here I really see any activity linked to these opportunities and I can even take a look into the content of an email or respond directly from here if I would like to. For sure I have also the people here like our team and the customer team and also I can have the products here that are relevant for those opportunities and just just this one click, super fast, I can just add another product here. It's really, really easy. It really goes easy from hand. We have directly a pricing coming from ERP included in here. So it's really, really strong. I can also change just with one click in the field, the amount and it's saved. So really maintaining opportunities is really, really easy here. Now, if I open the full view of an opportunity, I see the same details just a bit more on a larger screen, like here's a scoring trend. And I see also all the other tasks that are part of this opportunity here in the middle. In this case, many got completed already. I want to have an overview when I can see them also on a timeline view here, which is just a different representation out of all the activities here on the timeline. That's very convenient to get a good overview of what happened already in the opportunity. Now here I have my next best actions. I get suggested to make an appointment. Let's make quickly a Teams appointment here according to our playbook. There should be a phone call. I did this already. I called the customer so just tick a tick box to complete it. It's really easy and goes in hand. I can also click activities away that I don't want to do. So it goes really fast. It's more like filing out checklists and really completing the things and getting to know it. I have a nice overview what should be done in which phase. It's really very transparent and I can really get a good overview of what is to be done in the opportunity. Now let's finish also some tasks. Again, also that is just to click on a checkbox after I did them. I don't need to wait any time. I don't need to wait until something's open. It's good. It goes hand by hand and you can see live how events get in here. So even if colleagues do that, really life is out updating my screen, everything is updated. So here are more activities, I can click them away here. Let's progress a bit faster with our opportunity because we want to take a look at more things. Also here for sure I have a survey component where I can have very individual questions to be filled out and even react on like inputs or show different questions based on the previous answered questions. Now, we are progressing very well here with our DL. We see more and more events coming in here and that's all live. I mean, it's really without refreshing the screen. It feels very slick and very fast, very swift actually to use the solution. So, going further to the final phase for us here, we are in the quotation phase. Now, we could create a quote, but before creating a quotation, we need to do some more things maybe. For example, it could be that we maybe need to add more members on our side, on the customer's side. So let's add somebody else from the contact to the customer. In this case, we will add Jens here as another contact. And also we choose which role he has in this deal. In this case, he will be the approver of this deal on the customer side. So it's important to know. We see directly when to contact the customers. I can have one click here and I call the customers. Let's increase the quantity of some of the products here. And also that you see it really goes easy by hand. We get the prices from ERP here. And the performance you see here is really unbelievable. No saving times. We see the link to the previous created lead that we converted this opportunity from. So everything is in one place. Everything is close together. So now let's open the Microsoft Teams integration integration because it might be that we need to involve other colleagues. We need to maybe involve colleagues from engineering, from other departments, before we can make the final offer to the customer. But that's very easy, because based on the opportunity, I can just generate a new team room. Once it is generated, I have the option to collaborate in Microsoft Teams according to this opportunity. We always have linked the opportunity, so the actual business, with our Microsoft Teams. Let's open Microsoft Teams to take a look how this looks like. So when I log on now to Teams, I can see here in the left-hand corner that we have a new notification there on the activities. I open my activities here and just click on the team that was just created now here, which I have already here. And now in the team, we have a tab that was created automatically that embeds the entire opportunity and I can also use it. So even from Microsoft Teams, I can collaborate, create a sales quote, do activities, update my opportunity. I don't need to go away. So it's really close. It's one click is Teams away and one click is my opportunity away. Here I can just add more people, chat, have a standard file structure to have all the files that I want to share according to an opportunity and for sure add any kind of Microsoft Teams functionality here to this team room that is linked to my opportunity in the SAP Sales Cloud. This way I can really keep the business process together with the collaborative process and in my opinion, that's the best of tools. Now let's imagine we have everything together and and we want to create the sales quote. For sure, then it can also directly create here the sales quote. I can here adapt a bit more, maybe it's quantities. Maybe I could also add another product here. I can check the involved parties here, like a ship to, a bill to, everything that you need to really make a quotation. In our case, we just save and open the quote. We have here everything together and we assume most things are already prepared in the opportunity, then we just preview the quotation in this case. Then everything is being printed on a template that can be customized for your company. And that can look much more pretty than even that here. This can be sent to the customer and when he signs it digitally, then we can set our quotation to one and we have made a deal. We started with an opportunity that originated from a lead and added all the different details and all the activities that were necessary to in the end, make an offer to the customer. and win a new deal here. And this is how easy a sales process from lead to cash can be with SAP Sales Cloud.
