Creating a Payment Integration with Open Payment Framework Workbench

Hello, in this video, I will demonstrate how to create a payment integration using the OPF Workbench, specifically for the Stripe Checkout solution.  First, navigate to the  Payment Integration section of the OPF Workbench.  Click Create and enter a name, such as Stripe Checkout.   Set the integration type to Payment Gateway and select Stripe as the payment provider.  For now, leave the Site Assignment blank, We will assign it later to the Electronics U.S. store.  Keep the remaining settings at their defaults,  then click Create.  This establishes the foundational payment integration.  Next, we need to create a configuration  for this integration.  You'll require your Merchant ID,  which is the Stripe account ID  found in your account details, which we set up earlier.  Now, choose the capture method. There are several options.  Single Partial Capture per Authorization For demonstration, will select this.  It captures the first item's amount upon authorization, then reauthorizes and  captures subsequent items separately.  This is a common configuration in Stripe by default. This is a common configuration in Stripe by default  Immediate Capture automatically captures funds immediately upon authorization, eliminating the need for  a separate capture request at shipping time.  Multiple Partial Capture lets you capture against an authorization multiple times,   up to the originally authorized amount.   This is especially useful  for split shipments.  Last but not least,  the "Over Capture Support" checkbox, specific to some North American gateways, enables you to capture an amount that is a certain percentage higher than the initial authorization.  For example, if an initial authorization  is for $100,  but taxes and shipping increase  the total to $110,  this feature enables capturing the extra $10.  I will now save the configuration.  Once saved, you'll be directed to the configuration overview screen,  displaying all key details and additional options.  These will be further explained in the next step. Thank you for watching!
