Creating a Stripe Account for Open Payment Framework and SAP Commerce Cloud Integration

Hello!  In this video, we’ll guide you    through the process of setting up  a Stripe account for integrating  the Open Payment Framework (OPF) with  SAP Commerce Cloud.  To set the context for this OPF demo,  we have a composable storefront connected to  our Commerce Cloud instance.   Additionally, an OPF tenant is set up in  its development environment.   Currently, our Electronics US store only offers  bank payment options.   Our objective is to configure OPF from scratch  and integrate Stripe's checkout solution  to add a card payment option.  To achieve this, you will need to create  an account with Stripe,  specifically a test account.   Once the account is created,  access the dashboard and create  a pre-configured sandbox environment  named SAPOPF.  This sandbox will be used  for testing purposes.  In the Stripe dashboard,  navigate to the developer’s section  to obtain your API keys.   This section also allows you to set up  web hooks, which will be required later  in the demo.   Additionally, locate the account settings area  to find your account ID,  which serves as your merchant ID.  That’s how you can set up a Stripe account  to integrate the Open Payment Framework  with SAP Commerce Cloud.  See you in the next video!
