Creating an Expense Report Based on a Completed Trip  In Concur Expense, you can create an expense report after you complete your trip. In the following example, you will see how to create an expense report after attending a business conference in Friedrichshof in Germany. To begin, from the Travel menu, on the Upcoming Trips tab, select the Expense Trip link for the trip that you want to create your expense for. On the Expense Reports screen, select Add Expense. You can select from a list of available expenses, or you can create a new expense. In this example, you will see how to add a car rental expense to your report. Select the Create New Expense tab. Your company determines which expense types are available for you to select from. From the Add Expense window, select the Car Rental expense type. On the New Expense screen, the required and optional fields are defined by your company. From this screen, you can allocate your expenses to different projects or departments, and from the Itemizations tab, you can itemize expenses to ensure that each of your expenses is accounted for correctly. Complete the appropriate fields. Make sure to select the Payment Type, Cash/Out-of-Pocket or Company Paid, from the dropdown menu. Select Add Receipt if you are required to include a receipt. When you are done entering your information for this expense, select Save Expense. All your report's expenses are updated and you are now ready to submit the expense report for your completed trip. The system will automatically add all credit card transactions that are tied to the purchase of your trip to your expense report. It will also add any transactions where the dates are between the date you left and the date you returned.
