Creating an Expense Report in SAP Concur

Creating an Expense Report  You can quickly create an expense report from the Quick Task bar on the SAP Concur home page. You can also select Expense from the Home menu. In the following example, you will see how to create an expense report from the Quick Task bar. To begin, place your mouse pointer over New, and then select Start a Report. On the Create New Report page, you enter general information for your expense report. A red asterisk appears next to the required fields, and you'll notice that some fields are already pre-populated. Complete the appropriate fields as directed by your company, and then select Create Report. Select Add Expense to add your credit card transactions or out-of-pocket expenses. You can select from a list of available expenses or you can create a new expense. In this example, you will see how to add an office chair expense to your report. Select the Create New Expense tab. Your company determines which expense types are available for you to select from. Select the Office Supplies expense type. On the new Expense screen, the required and optional fields are defined by your company. From this screen, you can allocate your expenses to different projects or departments, and from the Itemizations tab, you can itemize expenses to ensure that each of your expenses is accounted for correctly. Complete the appropriate fields. Make sure to select the Payment Type  (Cash/Out-of-pocket, or Company Paid) from the dropdown menu, and then select Add Receipt if you are required to include a receipt. When you are done entering your information for this expense, select Save Expense. Your new expense report is created. On this screen, you can edit or delete your expenses, copy them to quickly enter a new expense, allocate them to different projects or departments, or move them to another report. When you are ready to send your report to your manager for approval, select Submit Report.
