Creating and Submitting a Request to Travel in SAP Concur

Creating and Submitting a Request Using Concur Request, you can submit an authorization request with your expected trip expenses. In the following example, you will see how to submit a request prior to a business trip you are planning to Seattle, Washington. To begin submitting a request, on the SAP Concur home page, from the Quick Task bar, place your mouse pointer over New, and then select Start a Request. On the Create New Request screen, complete the required fields (indicated with a red asterisk), and any additional fields as directed by your company. When you have completed the necessary fields, select Create. In the Expected Expenses section, select Add to enter your trip details and estimated amounts for each of your expenses. The most common expenses are Air, Car Rental, and Hotel. You will see a list of expense types that you can select from. In this example, you'll begin by selecting your hotel expenses. Select the hotel expense type. On the New Expense screen, complete the necessary fields for your hotel expense, and then select Save. Select Add to continue adding your expected expenses for your request, such as individual and client meals, parking, and taxi expenses. Once you have finished adding your expected expenses, you can attach documents for your approver's review. To add any necessary documents, select the Attachments dropdown menu, and then select Attach Documents. Select Upload and Attach, and then from the appropriate file folder, double-click the file you want to upload. The file is uploaded for your approver's review. Once you have completed all your expected expenses, select Submit Request, and then select Accept and Continue to send the request to your approver. The authorization request is submitted and pending approval.
