Creating Internal Supplier Requests in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch Steve, a business user at NSM Global, request a new supplier. Hi, I'm Steve. First, I'll choose Create > Supplier Request on the dashboard. Next, I'll fill out the supplier request form. An asterisk indicates the required fields. At this point, I have three options: submit the request for approval, save the request as a draft, or cancel the request. I'm satisfied with the information I've provided, and SAP Ariba has not identified any potential duplicate suppliers, so I'll submit the request for approval. After submitting the request, I'll return to the dashboard. I recently met another new supplier I'd like to work with, so I'll access the supplier request form again. Next, I'll enter information about the supplier in the request form. Based on the details provided, SAP Ariba has identified a potential duplicate supplier, so I'll choose See duplicates. After reviewing the potential match, I've determined this is the same supplier I was attempting to request, so I'll cancel my request. You've now learned how users create internal supplier requests in SAP Ariba Supplier Management. Thanks for watching!
