Creating Multichannel Campaigns in SAP Marketing Cloud

Do you want to run a campaign that leverages not only the capabilities of SAP Marketing Cloud, but also includes an external platform? With a multi-channel campaign, you can combine a standard email or mobile notification campaign, with steps on an external platform. This is Tom. Tom is a marketing expert at Gallo d'Oro Coffee Company and is tired of trying to keep track of separate related campaigns. Now Tom wants to create a multi-channel campaign for a new product launch. He wants to combine emails from SAP Marketing Cloud with a campaign in Google Campaign Manager and transfer a target group to an external data management platform. On the Launchpad, Tom opens the Campaign app and creates a Product Launch Campaign. He selects a target group that he has already prepared for this product launch. Tom has already prepared an email for this product launch and adds it to the Send Email action. Tom also wants to connect this campaign to campaigns on Google Campaign Manager. Gallo d'Oro uses an ad agency for these campaigns. Using a multi-channel campaign, Tom can track all these product launch campaigns in one place. Tom knows that his agency has already started work on a campaign. Tom can simply pick and assign the campaign on Google Campaign Manager to the SAP Marketing Cloud campaign. He does this for all the campaigns that have already been created for the product launch. To transfer his target group to his company's data management platform, he selects the target group node in the campaign designer. He then adds the action called Send to my DMP. He makes sure that the Transfer Target Group checkbox is selected. Once the campaign is executed this target group will be sent the data management platform and can be used for additional campaign activities such as creating an audience for display ads. Tom is happy with how the campaign looks and starts the campaign execution. After the product launch, Tom can see more details on all campaigns both from Google Campaign Manager and from inside SAP Marketing Cloud. Tom is very happy with how his product launch is gone. He enjoys the convenience of being able to have all the product launch campaigns in one place.
