Creating Products with Developer Hub in SAP Integration Suite

Hello everyone and welcome to this session. This is the Developer Hub homepage where developers or application developers landing. Also the customer catalog is seen. Whatever the APIs and events customer wants to publish in a catalog, those would be seen here by the end developers. Okay, there are multiple ways to publish this content to Developer Hub. One of the classical ways is via SAP API management in integration suite. Integration developers would create an API proxy and publish it inside the product and which comes and lands inside a developer hub. This is one of the classical ways of publishing. What are the new ways that we have now? In developer hub, there is a persona called content administrator. Basically, he or she is responsible to build the content that goes on customer's catalog. He would come to this admin center and there is a space called manage content. Once he is inside the managed content, he will be able to see the different business systems which have been already added in BTP global account via UCL which is unified customer landscape. Whatever system have been added there and created a formation would start appearing here. What he can do is he can explore or discover the APIs and events from these business systems. Currently we are supporting SAP S/4HANA cloud business systems. Inside SAP S/4HANA Cloud, there is a concept called consumption bundles, which internally is nothing but grouping of APIs or the events. When content admin is exploring the consumption bundles, if he is interested to publish any of the bundle as part or product to end developers, then he need to select the specific bundles. Now let's select the bundle. Here I am selecting multiple consumption bundles. Now let's click to create a product, then click to publish. This publish might also take some time, but now we can see the product is published. Let's go to the product and check this. We can see here the status is published. Now let's create a product of events. So I come back to the same SAP S/4HANA system. I go to the events tab and here I'm able to see all the events that are exposed from that system. So if I'm interested, I will select a couple of events and then I can create a product. So let's fill up the product details. Then click to next and here you can check all the events which are selected to verify again and then again click to next and then publish. So now I have created two products, one with the APIs, which is already published and also now with the event, which is now published. These are the two ways to create a product from SAP S/4HANA system. Also there are two more ways now to create a product, which can happen via open API specification file or async API specification file. If I don't have a data in available system, but rather I have a file in my laptop, I can manually upload those files to my catalog with which we can create a product. So let's click to create and create a product of APIs. Now let's fill the details. Click to create draft. Then click to add API and choose a file. Now click to save. Now we can publish this. So click to publish. Product is successfully published. I can also create a product of events so I can change time and fill up the details. Click to create draft and then add the event. Now save this and publish it. Product is successfully published. Now let's go to the products tab and here we can check the status where both products are already published now we can go to the developer hub main page now the developer can see these new products which we just now created manually and by creating the bundles these are the different ways in which content administrator can get the content onto the catalog via developer hub thank you for listening to this session
