Creating Template Questions within SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing

This video will demonstrate creating a template question within SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Project Workspace templates. Like conditions, template questions help template creators make documents, tasks, teams, and other project items dynamic. The conditions are primarily based on field values, where template administrators manually create questions and their answers. The template questions appear during the template selection when creating a project. For example, you may have seen template questions in sourcing full projects such as will you be creating an RFI, RFP, or auction, or in contracts asking if the supplier negotiation documents or the company's main agreement will be used within a contract. These questions are created within the template and make certain project objects visible based on the answers. Within the template, we can create new questions in the conditions tab. The bottom table is where we can add new questions and answers. Choose Add Question, and on the Create Question page, we can set up the question and its attributes. We will create a new question that asks the project owner if they want to create a results presentation that makes documents and a document to do task visible. We will draft the question's phrasing and specify the answers at the bottom. We do not need to add a condition or have the project field set. I want to have the project owner choose a value, so I will also want to create a please specify answer option that is the default and must be changed. I have a simple yes -no question in my example, but template administrators have more flexibility and can add more answers where needed. I need to create a short name for the answer selection to the question in the defined condition column. If I forgot, I would receive an error asking for one. After choosing OK, I am done building the question but I would want to apply it where needed. Locate the tasks and documents based on this question and apply the defined condition that was just created.
