Creating Webhook Node Presets in SAP Emarsys

The Webhook node allows you to establish communication between SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement and SAP Sales Cloud.  Using webhooks, you can send data to SAP Sales Cloud when a contact arrives at the node within an Interaction or Automation program.  You can create webhook presets to use in the Webhook nodes to create activities, for example tasks, or to create leads.  For the purpose of this video, we'll be creating a webhook node preset that we'll then use with the Replicate New Marketing Contact tactic.  There are several prerequisites before we begin.  SAP Sales Cloud must be configured to receive the event sent by POST API requests from SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement.  For more information, see "Configuring Communication Management for SAP Account Engagement" in the Onboarding Guide.  Webhook nodes connect to SAP Sales Cloud using specific IP addresses.  If your security measures require the use of an allowlist, the following IP addresses must be added to the allowlist.  And finally, Your account must have "Edit Webhook Node Presets" enabled. Contact your account owner if you can't edit Webhook presets. The account owner can enable the permissions in User Management.   Our first task is to create a preset that we'll use with the Replicate New Marketing Contact tactic.  Go to Automation  -> Webhook Node Presets.  Choose Create Preset.  Enter a Preset Name and choose a Node Icon. The API Node icon is used by default.  Enter an API Endpoint URL to configure the connection to SAP Sales Cloud. You must provide a secure URL that  begins with https://.  The following are examples of the API Endpoint URL Syntax:  Choose HTTP basic as the Authentication Method and provide your username and password.  Define the payload data according to the desired preset type.  We require a lead preset for our tactic. To create a lead preset, do the following:  Clear the "Send Triggering Event Data" checkbox.  Define the following key-value pairs to send values of Contact Data fields:  Define the following "Additional Data" key-value pairs:  For more information about "Contact Data" fields and "Additional Data" key-value pairs,  see the related tables in the Creating Webhook Node Presets for Automation Programs topic in the Administration Guide.  Clear the "Operational Data" optional checkboxes.  Choose Save.  The preset is now available to  Automation programs.
