Discovering the Different SAP Cloud ERP Activate Road Maps – PET 2026

Hello everyone, and welcome to the 2026 H1 Product Expert Training session to help you discover the different SAP Cloud ERP Activate Public Cloud road maps. I am Dan Ciecko from the SAP Activate team and today I'll walk you through the different implementation road maps associated with SAP Cloud ERP. To help you navigate these road maps, I'll provide a brief overview of each one and its purpose. By understanding how they differ, you'll be better equipped to select the road map or combination of road maps that best fits your implementation scenario. We have two different user interfaces that allow access to our Activate content. The first is the Road Map Viewer tool and the second is SAP Cloud ALM Tasks app. The Road Map Viewer provides an easy process of navigating the methodology, phases, deliverables, and tasks while the SAP Cloud ALM operationalizes the content by providing assignment, management, execution of the tasks. In addition, Cloud ALM provides the ability to combine road maps for better Business Suite experience. I will switch over to the Road Map Viewer to walk you through the different Cloud ERP road maps.  The Road Map menu has been optimized to make it easier to find the SAP Cloud ERP road maps. I will be covering only the Public Cloud road maps in this session. Provisioning Enablement for SAP Cloud ERP. Introduced in conjunction with the unified provisioning capabilities for the SAP Business Suite, this road map guides customers through the provisioning and initial system access across various Business Suite products. After system provisioning at SAP, customers will receive a welcome e-mail containing a link to this road map. The Road Maps final task directs users to the SAP Activate for SAP Cloud ERP Road Map for further guidance. Please note this road map is not available within SAP Cloud ALM and is intended for use through the Road Map Viewer. It is not expected that Cloud ALM will be available until after this road map is completed. SAP Activate for SAP Cloud ERP. This road map is a continuation of the provisioning enablement for SAP Cloud ERP road map, so it excludes the discover phase and initial provisioning tasks. It covers the implementation scenarios related to the SAP Business Suite package, such as finance and supply chain, which extend beyond the core SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition functionality. While not presented as a standalone road map in SAP Cloud ALM, and implementation specific road map can be built using combinable road maps based on your project scope. A common combination might include SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP Concur, and importantly an adoption road map which should always be incorporated. SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. This is the established road map for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. Used successfully for several years, it is regularly updated, enhanced and will continue to be the go-to road map for implementing or expanding the use of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. In SAP Cloud ALM it can be combined with other road maps to suit the needs of your implementation. SAP Activate for conversion of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2-system to 3-system landscape. This road map supports the transition from a 2-system to a 3-system landscape, guides the project team through the technical and functional steps required for conversion, and is available in both the Road Map Viewer and Cloud ALM. SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2-System Landscape, this road map originates from the era of the 2-system landscape and is maintained primarily to support expanding countries and scope for existing. S/4HANA Public Cloud customers who have yet not yet migrated to a 3-system landscape. Although provisioning functionalities have been removed, the road map still offers valuable guidance, is available in both Road Map Viewer and SAP Cloud ALM. Early adopter SAP Activate for SAP managed cloud ERP applications. This road map is designed for early adopters who have chosen SAP managed integration across their cloud ERP landscape, is currently available only in the Road Map Viewer and supports customers leveraging SAP managed services across multiple applications. Before we wrap up, I'd like to highlight two additional road maps The first is found under the Upgrade tab, SAP Activate for Upgrade of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 3-system landscape. This road map provides detailed guidance for system upgrades and should be reviewed at least four weeks prior to each release upgrade. It is available in both the Road Map Viewer and SAP Cloud ALM to effectively manage timelines and resources, it's strongly recommended to leverage SAP Cloud ALM's project management capabilities when executing upgrades. The second road map is found under the Line of Business tab, SAP Activate for the Intelligent Enterprise. This road map brings together SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Concur, and selected capabilities from SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass. While it is available as a single road map and SAP Cloud ALM, it is generally recommended to use the combinable road map approach to design a project that is precisely matching to your scope. These are the ERP Cloud road maps Thank you for your
