Enabling and Disabling Expense Assistant in SAP Concur

Enabling and Disabling Expense Assistant Expense Assistant adds all your expenses in your Available Expenses list to any open expense report. An open report can be a user-created expense report or an expense report that is auto-created by Expense Assistant. Your company administrator activates Expense Assistant and they might have it automatically create monthly expense reports, trip-based expense reports, or both. Expense Assistant will continue to add all your new incoming expenses that have a date that matches the calendar month of the expense report or within the date range of a trip. You will now see how to enable Expense Assistant. From the SAP Concur home page, select the Profile icon, and then select Profile Settings. On the Profile Options screen, select Expense Preferences. To enable Expense Assistant, select the Expense Assistant using this method drop down arrow and then select By Month. Select Save. Expense Assistant will now start adding expenses to your monthly expense reports. To view your expense reports, select the dropdown menu at the top of your screen and then select Expense. On the Manage Expenses screen, you can view your newly created reports. Note that your expenses are added to your reports based on their transaction date month. You can open your reports to view alerts, attach required receipts, and make any necessary updates before you submit your report for approval. If you no longer want Expense Assistant to place all incoming expenses on your unsubmitted reports, you can disable Expense Assistant. Scroll down to the end of the Report Library section, and then select the Turn off Expense Assistant link. In the Confirm pop-up window, select Turn off Expense Assistant. The Expense Assistant feature is disabled and your incoming expenses will no longer be placed on your unsubmitted expense reports.
