Executing Material and Business Partner Replication: Integrating SAP Sales and Service Cloud with SAP S/4HANA Cloud using SAP Cloud Integration

In this video, we will make use of the configuration steps that we have done so far to: Replicate a product and a business partner from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to our SAP Sales Cloud tenant, and we will monitor the message flow across the systems. Let’s get started! Login to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and search for the app: Replicate by Replication Model. Let’s begin with the product replication. Choose the product replication model. The target system and the business objects are selected automatically. As we only want to replicate a single product in this demonstration, we have to pay attention to the filter criteria. Choose Manual as replication mode, and then click on Display Filter Criteria in the upper-left corner. We only want to replicate a single product. Therefore, we have already maintained a filter based on the material ID. For changing the filter, we could click on Edit. As the filter is ok in our case, we can close this screen. Back on the Replicate by Replication Model screen, we can start the replication by clicking the Replicate button in the upper-left corner. Now we want to see if a message was sent out from SAP S/4HANA Cloud to SAP Cloud Integration. We can do that in the message dashboard. Search for the app, Message Dashboard. As usual when monitoring messages: Pay attention to the correct filters and refresh the view if necessary. We can see the result. One message for product integration has been sent out, and it was successful. That means we should see a processed message in SAP Cloud Integration. Let’s move there. On the Overview screen, we can already see one processed message within the past hour. Let’s have a closer look. Here we can see that it is our material message. And the green status "Completed" tells us it has been successfully processed. Let’s have a look at the message monitor in SAP Sales and Service Cloud as the last step in monitoring. The Web Service Message Monitor can be found in the Administrator workcenter, under General Settings. Select Web Service Message Monitoring. First of all, refresh the screen. If the Refresh button is not showing up directly in the menu bar, you can find it as a sub-item of the three dots button. As we can see, the message appears and it has been successfully processed in SAP Sales and Service as well. Let’s continue with the business partner replication. Back on the Replicate by Replication Model screen, we choose Customer Replication to C4C. And again, we only want to replicate a single business partner. So we set the filter mode to manual, and review the filter criteria. We already have a business partner selected based on its ID. So, we can close the filter screen, and start the replication. After the message has been sent out, we can jump to the message dashboard. Refresh the view by clicking the Search button. Now we can see three messages for the Cloud for Customer Integration communication arrangement. A business partner relationship message and a business partner message have been sent out. And a confirmation message that was sent from SAP Sales and Service Cloud after it received the business partner. That means the replication works from end to end. But let’s have a closer look at the connected systems. In SAP Cloud Integration, let’s jump directly to the processed messages list. Here, we can see the business partner and the relationship message that were sent from SAP S/4HANA to SAP Sales and Service Cloud. And we can also see the third message, the confirmation from SAP Sales and Service Cloud towards SAP S/4HANA. Finally let’s have a look into the SAP Sales and Service Cloud message monitor. And again, refresh the view. Then we can see the two incoming messages for the business partner, and the relationship. And the outgoing confirmation message: All processed successfully. That means we have successfully replicated the necessary master data objects. And we are now ready for the quote follow-up scenario. That concludes this video.
