Explaining Analytics in SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

Today we're going to take a look at the analytics for SAP Sales Cloud. We have for sure some basic analytics on the dashboard, but if you want to go deeper, we have the Analytics stories. These stories in SAP Analytics Cloud allow us to directly drill down into the data and make deep analysis of the data and the dimensions. Here, for example, we see the sales performance overview, where we see the performance of our sales reps based on the current deals that we closed lately. let's change the time frame that we're looking at currently we look four quarters back so let's change it and look only one quarter back so then we will see all the numbers everything adjusts immediately automatically and very fast now let's also not look at all the employees but only in certain ones we are interested only in john and adrian here and we want to compare how their performance is doing at the moment we can easily see that john is doing a little bit better than in here so now let's switch back here and change the filters again so we reset the filters here and want to add some other filters so here we have some predefined filters and you can freely configure this predefined filters that you see at the top but you can actually filter by any kind of dimension that is underlying of this data for that we can just go here to the filter and now open the filter functionality here and here we have all the dimensions available in the data model and in our case let's filter for example by industry here and just filter a certain industry and see all the reports based on that so we just check for all gas and energy here and if you see all the reports will adjust and you see we have one big client there that is a raw energy us here and only two sales reps that are responsible for this industry it seems so you can see that you can really dive deeper into the data here add any kind of dimension from the data here and it's really flexible so let's for example say we are only interested in the ones that are the last phase like the quotation phase so actually close before the closing of the deal and you see again everything adjusted the number goes smaller and we really dive deeper into the data and really get a better understanding let us look at another report here so next to the sales performance we also has a pipeline overview report here which is another sample report pre-delivered by SAP so here you can see the total pipeline value and also here again we have different values and we can filter here again but we also when we want to look for example closer at one of the charts here you can just switch it to full screen and then you have a much better overview of the chart and also here again you have the same filtering options you can add any kind of dimension that is underlying this report here for example let's filter now this by the country and we will take the country germany in this case and we will see that this chart is immediately adjusting and all the data is again reflected here we see there's three major companies that make our pipeline in germany till you really get a good overview and you can easily filter the entire charts and do the drill down into your data here i hope this gave you a great insight into our comprehensive analytics capabilities here we use the sap analytics cloud here in the background that you get embedded with your SAP Sales Cloud. So you really get a super comprehensive tool that is really allowing you all the different analytics that you would wish yourself with your data of your SAP Sales Cloud.
