Exploring Dynamic Visit Planning in SAP Sales Cloud

In this video, you'll learn how to create visit plans on a schedule or on an Ad Hoc basis.  Let's see how to create schedule -based visits using route groups.  Select an account for which you want to create a visit plan.  Provide the visit type, sales organization,  distribution channel,  and the division.  Choose how often the account should be visited and provide the desired duration and preparation time.  Save your visit plan.  You can now see your new visit plan in the visit plan header.  Now that you've created a visit plan,  let's create and schedule a route group from the route group work center view.  Create a route group.  Provide a name and choose the visit type.  You can also choose a date range along with the Sales Organization, Distribution Channel, and the Division.  Set your user preferences.  Before you activate the route group,  you must add accounts to your route group.  You can either search for and add your accounts,  or simply copy and paste valid account IDs.  Once you add accounts,  visit days along with visit information are pulled from the visit plan of the respective accounts.  You can edit your visit plan by modifying the visit details.  Save your route group.  Change the status of your route group to active, to activate your route group.  Let's now locate the visit list for which we want to generate visits.  If you want to make changes to your visit list, edit your visit.  Then, optimize the visit.  You can now generate visit lists and subsequent visits from the route group based on your visit generation schedule.  Now let's see how we can create Ad Hoc visits from the cockpit.  Choose a date and then choose a visit type.  You can view the most critical accounts recommended based on your priority configuration.  You can also use the plan my day option to automatically propose critical accounts near your current location.  Select the accounts you want to add.  You can also add accounts by selecting the map pins.  Hover over the accounts to view Account Insights.  Now create a visit list.  Hover an account to view the visit details.  You can update the visit list by modifying the visit information.  Adding or removing an account from an existing visit list breaks the route.  You must then re-optimized the visit list.  The system creates an optimized visit list and displays it in a route view.  The visit list is optimized based on the start and end time of the visit and considering optimization constraints like employee and account availability.  Review the visit information and generate your visits.  Thanks for watching.
