Forecast Tracker - SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

The Forecast Tracker in SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2 offers a simple real-time forecasting workflow. The chart displays all forecast submissions for the selected fiscal period. It lets you see how the forecasts are trending against the live pipeline. The purple line is the Sales target. The other dotted lines represent the forecasts, with each node being a forecast submission. The unbroken lines are the Live pipeline with each node being an opportunity close date. You use the Live opportunities tab to perform forecast simulations. You can override the Forecast category and the amount for an opportunity as well as toggle them in and out of the forecast. When you make a simulation change, the numbers in the graph which represent your real time forecasts are automatically updated. The other tab is the Sales Unit Roll up which you use as a sales manager to see submissions for each sales unit rolling up to you. When you're ready to submit a forecast, simply select the Submit Forecast button. This gives you a few options. You can re-send your last submission if your forecast and numbers haven't changed. As the sales manager, you can use the Sales Unit Roll-up option. This allows you to submit the sum of opportunities for the areas rolling up to you and includes your simulations. You could also choose the Live Roll Up option, which is the sum of all your opportunities including your simulations. Optionally, you can add some comments and then submit. As we've seen, the Forecast Tracker provides an intuitive workflow. It gets your sales team out of spreadsheets and into a shared, singular view of the forecast.
