Generating Reports in SAP Incentive Management

Hello, and welcome. In this video, you'll learn how to manage and generate static reports for SAP Incentive Management. Static reports allow you to easily manage and publish key performance information to any size sales force. Reports can be published at any time, in conjunction with the regular calculation or at a different time. The following reports are available in a standard implementation: Compensation Detail Statement, My Compensation Statement, Order Details, Payment Summary, and Top Transactions. You can also create custom reports using the Crystal Reports Designer. If you would like to learn more about Crystal Reports, see the learning journey, Discovering Crystal Reports in SAP Learning. In this case, we are focusing on the standard reports. Reports are published as part of the pipeline. To publish reports, start in the Calculation Run workspace and select Compensate & Pay. Let's leave the period at the default and select Next. On this page we will enable Generate Statements. Since we have already run Compensate & Pay, we can deactivate the first four options. Let's leave the processing mode at All Transactions. Activating Generate Statements adds a Report Options screen. Here we can choose from three formats: Native Crystal Report, Excel, and PDF. I'll select PDF. Next, I can select which reports to generate. Expanding this list shows the five standard reports. I'll select My Compensation Statement and select OK. The Report Groups includes which user groups to publish the report. By default, we have two groups: an admin group and a user group. I'll select both groups and select OK, then Next. I'll leave logging at the default and choose to run immediately. I'll select Review, then Confirm and Submit  to start the calculation. When report generation is complete, I can see the job details by selecting the calculation run and viewing the details in the right pane. Now let's see what the payee sees.  When reports are generated, the payee receives an email with a link to the report.  Alternatively they can log into the Incentive Management Portal and view the reports on the home page. In this video, we saw how you can easily manage and publish standard reports in SAP Incentive Management.
