Getting Notifications on Your Cases in SAP for Me

Do you need help to monitor your case and stay up to date with your case progress in SAP for me? Today, I will show you how to get notified when your support cases are updated by SAP. First, ensure that the correct email address and or mobile number is maintained in your S-User profile. In case you need to update your S-User ID contact settings, please follow the steps from KBA 1271545. Once you have your contact information properly registered in your S-User ID, please navigate to your profile in SAP for me. From the drop down menu, select my settings. Go to the support related notifications tab. Here you can manage your email and SMS notifications for a certain range of tasks. To receive notifications related to support cases, please make sure to turn on the case notifications. By clicking on the expand node, you can set up the notifications for very high priority cases specifically. Select this accordingly. All done! Your S-User ID will get notified every time a support case you created is updated with Info from SAP to Customer and Reply from SAP to Customer memos. To receive notifications about cases created by other users in your company, add your S-User as an additional contact. Another useful feature to highlight to you is the create distribution list email address as a contact. This is helpful where you have a team of people who share work on cases. Kindly note that cases forwarded to other support components or support levels will not trigger a notification. Also, support cases created in SAP Solution Manager do not receive emails, regardless if the notifications are enabled. The emails only occur for cases created in SAP For Me.
