How to Create a KPI using Manage Configuration HRH65 - SAP S/4HANA Cloud - Professional Services

Good morning everyone. This is the HRH65 course. We are going to speak about the creation of a new KPI within the application. Within my process manager application, I have the requirement from the business user to create a new KPI. On the first line, employee content analysis of my process. Training US21 US Test Payroll with Posting and Team Monitoring. To create a new KPI, I go to the new manage configuration application where I can create validation rules, KPIs and analytics. I'm going to go to the KPIs click on the cross and then I click on the Plus to create a new KPI. Then I extend the visibility and I start creating a new KPI. Like this. I set a name, training employees. And I assign a type which is, employment because we are going to speak about active employees, typically an employment dimension. I work with USA. So I select USA and I select the icon. The icon is like this, for example. And the requirement is to create an harvey chart. So I select the harvey chart, the likely of a preview of what can be available That's part of General is currently will be other has to be later on. First of all, let's create the sections the data sections corresponding to the data we are going to extract from the system. And the first data section for sure is the active employees extracted from the system. What am, what am I counting? I'm counting the employees, so I split the count of employees. What are the conditions? First of all, the condition is based upon the activity, the fact that the employee is active or not. This is managed by the employment status. And I say that the status is equal to active. For sure. I've also to say to the system, I want to work on this current period, to do so. I add that kind of metadata. condition, the payroll period. And I say that the payroll period is equal to the current payroll period And that means that the system will understand that it must be selected based upon the current period. I have to now add a new data section data_2, the data_2 is for inactive employees. We also count employees, and now, we have to select again, the employment status. But, but now, we want to not select your active one. Again. I have to select the payroll period to filter the current. payroll period, I made a mistake is equal to 3 and current payroll period. Now I have a second data section, selecting the inactive employees. I activate it. Now I come back to the general. I edit first. I come back to the general to give it a title and header text. For example, active employees. And in the footer, I'm going to write number, for example. Then in the value, in the total value, I'm going to have the active and inactive employees, I count, I take the first two active employees, then I add the plus, then I add the inactive employees. The Fraction value. I display the active employees. The color is neutral. We have only, that's not critical. So we can, variable, and color is neutral, meaning green. My KPI is now created I can activate and I can preview the value. I select. The process I want to apply. I can have a first preview. Looks good. Okay. So I have my KPI created, I go to the analytic. I select the training. I edit the analytic training. I select the first line, corresponding to that KPIs. And I add my KPI just created. Select, I activate. I know I have to go back here and I have to run the initiate policy step. I repeat and start. When I click on start. The list of KPIs and check instances is prepared and submitted within a bunch of job batches can see that job batches are here when we click on See details, we get the list of batches. We have to wait a bit. And we get the list of check instances. We also see that the KPIs are already done and the rejected employees are also checked. And synchronization with the team is done. That means that the initial policy step is almost finished. Sequence. And it's finished. We can confirm the step and we can jump to the monitoring. We see now that the KPI is created correctly. Thank you for attending today's session.
