Identifying UI Elements in SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

In this demo, you'll learn to identify and describe the main user interface components in SAP Sales and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 that support In-App Extensibility. Let's start from the Home Page. You'll notice Cards. These are modular UI tiles used to display key information, such as Pins, KPIs, Mashup cards, and Messages. Cards can be grouped, rearranged, and personalized to match your workflow. Next, let's explore Work Centers. Open the Navigation menu. Work Centers are the highest-level navigation areas in the system. They group-related functional domains such as Accounts, Leads, Cases, Agent Desk, and Guided Selling. Each Work Center contains Pages that are your core work screens. For example, an Account Page, Lead Page, or the Home Page. Let's open the Accounts page. Pages serve as the foundation for your daily tasks, bringing together all relevant information and actions. Now open the Account Page of Alpha Center. The structure of every Page is governed by its Page Layout. Page Layouts define how content is organized on the screen, including tabs, sections, field visibility, custom buttons, and even rules-based layouts that adapt to user or data context. Tabs are major subdivisions within a Page. Tabs group high-level information areas, such as General, Sales Data, and Activity History. Each tab can contain multiple sections, fields, and even embedded mashups for additional data or integrations. Inside each tab, you'll find Sections. Sections serve to organize related fields or content, helping you quickly find and focus on the most relevant information. For example, the Contacts section in the Account General tab. Now let's go back to the Accounts page. Another important UI element is filters. Filters are essential tools used in list views and search screens. Filters refine large sets of data, making it easy to find what you need. You can use quick basic filters and advanced filters, or even create many filters that can be saved and personalized for quick access. Let's go to the Account Page of Alpha Center. The last UI element is Fields. Fields are at the most granular level. You'll encounter standard fields delivered by SAP, and custom fields created through extensibility. Fields are the building blocks for data entry and display. To summarize, understanding Work Centers, Pages, Page Layouts, Tabs, Sections, Cards, Filters, and Fields empowers you to make full use of In-App Extensibility. Mastering these elements enables you to tailor SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2 to your unique business needs. Congratulations! You have now identified and described the key UI elements involved in In-App Extensibility.
