Importing Data in SAP Concur

You use the Import Data tool to view the list of import tasks that have processed, are scheduled to process, and to download import templates. To access the Import Data tool, place your mouse pointer over Administration. Select Company Admin. Select Import Data. In this example, you will download an Excel import template for regional hotel rates. Select Import formats samples. The list of available import templates displays. Select the Download link for the appropriate template. Select Open. The Excel template contains three tabs, including the Instructions, Code Reference, and Regional Hotel Rates form. Read through the instructions about how to complete the form fields. Select the Regional Hotel Rates tab. Required fields are marked with a red indicator. Enter the appropriate fields for this task form. When you have completed the necessary fields, save the file. Select X to close the window. Select Back to Manage Import Tasks. To upload the regional hotel rates template, Select Add Task. Browse for and select the appropriate file. Select Choose File. Select the Mode drop-down arrow. You can select whether to Test, Test then Import, or Import the file. As a best practice, SAP Concur recommends that you first run the task in Test mode. Select the appropriate mode. Verify that the correct Company displays. Select the Import Type drop-down arrow. Select the Regional Hotel Rates from Excel Import Type. Select the Scheduled for drop-down arrow. For this example, select Tonight to run the task this evening. You can also see the ASAP option. This only appears from 4 p.m. to 6 a.m. Pacific Time on weekdays. Select the appropriate value. When you have completed the task, Details, select Save. The scheduled task displays on the Manage Import Tool Tasks page. You can check the Status after the task completes to verify success, failure, or complete with errors. To change the properties of this task, select the Edit icon to open the Details window. To delete this task, select the Delete icon.  This concludes our demo. Thank you for watching.
