Introducing Current AI Features in SAP Integration Suite

Hi everyone. Welcome to this session. This is about AI features in SAP Integration Suite. Now, let's explore some generative features available in SAP Integration Suite to increase developers productivity. Let's talk about first feature. There is an important area for SAP Integration Suite is to accelerate integrations by offering pre-built AI content on SAP Business Accelerator Hub. Let's see this in action. When I go to SAP Business Accelerator Hub, Here, I can search for AI content. There are API packages for AI tools, AI services, AI core, and others which can be used by customers and partners to leverage these services in their custom AI applications. Also we have these pre-built integration packages like business entity recognition and document information extraction for enabling the customers to start their AI integration journey. Last but not the least, we have increasing number of partner content on AI. Here you see the validated partner use cases or VPAC which can be used by customers for specific integrations. Now let's see consolidated landing page for activating or deactivating AI features. Here users can easily toggle features on or off just on one click. This means teams can customize their AI feature experience based on what matters the most to them, Provides a faster time-to-value with no-wait -no-friction experience for immediate access to any newly released features Centralized access insurance, visibility, auditability, and control enablement of the features This approach supports a scalable user -friendly way to adapt the platform capabilities as your business evolves Let's check another feature which is tool-based content recommendation in Business Accelerator Hub You need to log in into the Business Accelerator Hub and then you can see this Joule icon on the right hand side. Click here and let's say, how can we integrate SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA Cloud to facilitate real -time supplier collaboration and spend management. And click to send button. Now, Joule will provide you some recommendations. If you go down, you can check the resources. Click to this first resource, which is an integration package for SAP ERP and S4 HANA integration with SAP Ariba. If you click here, then it will directly navigate to the integration package, which you can consume further. SAP Integration Suite offers AI -assisted generation of integrations, which enables developers to build enterprise-grade integrations, connecting different applications, systems, and business partners, both SAP and non -SAP, with speed and precision. Let's see this in action in integrations with designer within an integration package. Let's create an integration flow. I can choose to create it either manually or using AI. If I create it with AI, I need to provide the description of the integration flow as a prompt. Based on the applications or systems mentioned in the prompt, SAP integration suite connects to the Unified Customer Landscape or UCL and fetches the instance of those applications or systems available in customer landscape. AI also suggests the name of the integration scenario based on the description of the prompt. With these details, let's go ahead and create an integration flow. So the integration flow is created based on the prompt with pre -configured adapters with the instance details of the systems. The AI generator integration flow follows the design guidelines and the best practices ensuring the improved quality of integrations to improve the operational excellence. Another AI feature in operational excellence is the script optimization, which enables the operation experts and integration developers to identify hotspots and integration design and provides the recommendation with the tailored optimization proposals based on design guidelines and best practices. As an operations expert from the inspect section in SAP integration suite, I can see that there is an increased memory consumption. By going into the details, we can identify the specific integration flow which has hotspots of increased memory consumption. After navigating to the integration flow and specific script which is causing the issue, I can generate optimization proposal with JNI based on the design guidelines and best practices. I can choose to apply one of the proposal and accept the entire optimized script. As a last step, we deploy the integration flow with optimized script. After some time, we can verify the optimization to improve the memory consumption. Let's explore another feature. SAP Integration Suite offers AI-powered anomaly detection which empowers API owner to identify unusual or abnormal behavior within API traffic by continuously monitoring API -requested responses, analyzing patterns, and detecting deviations from established norms. Anomaly detection provides insights into the root cause, analysis the impact with recommendations for probable remedial actions. Let's see this in action. When we navigate to analyze section of SAP integration suite, there is a tab called anomalies where we can see the AI-powered anomaly detection continuously monitoring API requests and responses. If we go into one of the detected anomalies for API traffic increase, we can see that there was a peak on a particular day and time. When we investigate the details, we can see the anomaly type, description, the affected API and its target host with details of developer who is notified about this anomaly. In addition, anomaly detection provides a few recommendations on how this anomaly can be fixed. The API owner can evaluate the anomaly and resolve it by either marking it as expected or by adopting the recommendation provided by this feature. Another AI feature is API Traffic Prediction. This provides API traffic prediction for next three months, day-wise, week -wise, and month-wise, and also provides daily and weekly traffic trends. It also gives predictions at both overall API level and individual proxy level. Available to all the proxies with the no selection required. This is multi-series model which is a single model for all the proxies. It also overall enabling API owners to plan, optimize API consumption, resources, and take proactive actions. We are inside SAP integration suite. Also, there is now a tab available known as predictions. We have two sections, API call predictions and API call trends. In API call predictions, by default, we show expected call counts for all the APIs for duration of 30 days. This gives API owner the holistic view of the system. Based on this, API owner can take some decisions on resource optimizations, on resource allocations, etc. Now, suppose API owner is interested in only one critical API, then go to this select box which lists all the APIs in the system. You can select some critical APIs and see the expected call counts of those particular APIs. Now suppose the API owner wants to see the call counts for a longer duration. Then we support the call count for up to 90 days. Now we can select up to the 90 days. then this plot shows expected call count up to the 90 days. Now suppose the API owner wants to see these call counts on a different aggregation then we support weekly as well as monthly aggregation. For this API owner can go to this box and select every seven days. Now this plot shows the call counts for weekly aggregation. We can also select it for monthly aggregation and the plot will show the expected call counts monthly. Now suppose API owner wants to see the call counts only for a particular days like a weekends. So you can go to the custom and select a Saturday and Sunday and just say apply. Then it will show the expected call counts for a weekends. So this will show for Saturdays and Sundays. That's all from the prediction section. Now coming to the trend section trends are shown the repetitive pattern for the expected call counts for certain time periods. By default, it shows that expected call counts for the week. So from this plot, we can see that the call counts on a weekend are significantly higher than that of a weekend. Now suppose the API owner wants to see it for a day. So we can select it for a day from here and this will show the expected call counts hourly or a whole day. This plot shows that at the morning, the call accounts were lower and they started picking up as the day progresses and in the night it goes to the lower side.
