SAP puts AI into the context of business. More than 24,000 SAP Cloud customers already actively use 30+ AI capabilities in our applications and BTP. With GenAI, SAP's AI strategy remains fundamentally unchanged. We embed GenAI natively in our business applications as well as into BTP. An AI foundation built on SAP Business Technology Platform is how we infuse AI into SAP's products and enable customers and partners to create AI-powered extensions and applications. SAP BTP provides the foundation to infuse reliable, secure, and scalable Generative AI across business applications and beyond. We partner with the leading general purpose AI vendors and large language model providers to offer flexibility and deliver the best customer experience in terms of business outcome and quality. Integrating those providers into our existing AI services that are used by thousands of customers already gives everyone the enterprise readiness that our customers expect. We are introducing a Generative AI control plane as part of BTP to provide the required trust, data privacy, control, and orchestration between SAP's business applications and model providers from OpenAI, Anthropic, AlephAlpha, or Meta. While large language models are great for generation of text or images, they are not very useful to generate business outcomes and make predictions in classical domains of SAP, such as finance, sales, or supply chain. Therefore, SAP will provide its own Generative AI model for business based on the vast amount of business data. 20,000+ customers have granted SAP the access to develop and train AI across the entire portfolio to rethink and redesign how business is done today. Of course, this will be done preserving confidentiality and data privacy of every individual customer. A solid AI foundation empowers our expanding partner ecosystem to build an array of generative, AI-powered solutions and extensions on SAP BTP to jointly help our customers. AI technologies are directly embedded within SAP applications to reach a new level of process automation and efficiency. We provide digital assistant overlaying SAP business applications to support any user in their day-to-day jobs, answering to live query and providing insights and intelligence. We believe AI should be available on day one, as it's built in the systems that power the most critical business functions. It works for the entire business because it is developed using extensive industry-specific data and deep process knowledge.
