Introducing the SAP Customer Data Cloud Solution

Welcome to this introductory video on the SAP Customer Data Cloud Solution.  The SAP Customer Data Cloud Solution helps you turn anonymous visitors into loyal customers.   It allows you to offer seamless engagements, build trust, and deliver personalized digital  experiences to businesses, partners, and customers.  SAP Customer Data Cloud is comprised of three solutions: SAP Customer Identity and Access Management for B2C or CIAM for B2C, SAP CIAM for B2B, and SAP Enterprise Consent and Preference Management or ECPM. Let’s go over these three solutions in more detail, highlighting the aspects and benefits of each solution.  Let’s start with SAP CIAM for B2C.  CIAM for B2C turns online visitors into known, loyal customers by securely identifying  and engaging them, while bringing a frictionless and personalized point of entry across brands, regions, and digital properties.   The SAP CIAM for B2C Solution includes 3 key features:  Identity Management,  Access Management, and Profile Management  Identity Management is equipped with: Intuitive user registration to onboard customers quickly with features such as lite registration,  allowing customers to make an easy initial engagement using just an email and no password. Customer Identity, which contains out-of-the-box scalable, responsive forms called Screen-Sets, and customizable workflows. Social login workflows to increase registrations and drive personal engagement while at the same time simplifying authentication through over 35 social networks. Constant monitoring of digital identities and alerts about unusual account activities to protect customers. And Global Access, which gives your customers a consistent user experience on your site,  logging into local sites of different data centers as they travel the world. Customers log in with the same credentials.  User data is stored in the data center selected during registration and this way data residency regulations  are upheld without compromising experience.  Access Management allows you to: Implement risk-based, multifactor, biometric,  and one-time password authentication.  Enable single sign-on for all sites in your organization to provide seamless,  secure access across touchpoints And support identity federation standards using SAML and OpenID Connect protocols.  Profile Management enables you to: Capture and transform  structured and unstructured data with a fully-indexed dynamic schema, into a single unified record for each customer.   Build rich, centralized customer profiles; then map, transfer, or synchronize them with all your digital properties  including with third-party applications and services using Dataflows our powerful extract, transform, and load solution.  And Govern and analyze your unified records seamlessly across each customer’s life cycle to plan, predict, and optimize customers’ experiences across brands, channels, devices, and regions to drive higher conversions and engagements.  The next solution SAP Customer Data Cloud offers is CIAM for B2B. With CIAM for B2B, you can accelerate time-to-market and growth,  while reducing operational costs, simplifying your customers and partners end-to-end lifecycle management,  and protecting yourself against business risk.   CIAM for B2B allows you to: Speed-up onboarding and time-to-value with progressive profiling, self-service registration, single sign-on, and delegated administration.  Reduce costs and IT complexity by managing digital identities, consent, authentication, and authorization from a single platform.  Simplify the end-to-end lifecycle management of your customers and partners  with business policy-based access control and organizational access management.  And Protect against business and regulatory risks by securing information access with dynamic controls, while meeting data privacy requirements.  Let’s highlight the key features of CIAM for B2B which takes us through the Identity Lifecycle Management of your customers and partners:  It starts with Organizational Access Management which empowers speedy onboarding of partners, suppliers,  and distributors to all digital properties through quick and easy self-registration.  Next Policy-Based Access Control takes effect.  Once the partner has self-registered, they are assigned a role and provided coarse and fine-grained access to the appropriate applications,  platforms, products, and data.  This streamlines access to prevent data leaks and unauthorized access across the entire digital ecosystem.  Once a user from a partner organization has been approved,  they can also be assigned the role of Delegated
