Itemizing Nightly Lodging Expenses in iPhone with SAP Concur

Itemizing Nightly Lodging Expenses - iPhone In the SAP Concur system, unless your company specifically does not require it, you will need to itemize all your hotel expenses. In the following example, you will see how to itemize your hotel bill. Note that depending on your company's configuration, the Hotel expense type might be listed as Room Rate or Lodging. To begin itemizing your hotel expense, on the Expense screen, press Itemize. On the Hotel Itemization Wizard screen, you first enter your Check-in and Check-out dates. Press the Check-in/Check-out Date fields. Select your Check-in and Check-out dates from the calendar. Note that the number of nights was calculated based on your Check-in and Check-out dates. Next, you will enter all your recurring charges, such as Room Rate and Room Tax. Enter the nightly charge for the Room Rate, and then do the same for the Room Tax. After entering your Room Rate and Room Tax, you enter any additional recurring charges. For example, on-site parking or nightly Internet charges. In this example, you will see how to enter a recurring charge for parking. In the Additional Charges (each night) section, press Expense Type. In the Search field, enter Park, and then press the Parking expense type. Enter the nightly amount for your parking, and then press Save. It is very common for your room rate to change over the course of your stay. If this occurs, you can adjust the amount of the recurring charge for any night that had a different rate. To adjust the room rate, enter the nightly Amount, and then press the Back arrow to return to the itemization screen. The Hotel expense has been adjusted for the night that had the different rate. Tip: You can delete any single itemization by swiping left on the itemization. In this example, left-swipe the Parking itemization that was incorrectly entered, and then press the Delete icon. Notice the total itemized Amount and the Remaining Amount. You must continue itemizing your expenses until the Remaining Amount is $0. You will now account for any one-time charges that appear on your bill, such as dinner, room service, in-room movie, or mini-bar. To add a one-time itemization to your expense, press the + symbol, and then for this example, press the Dinner expense type. Verify that the Transaction Date is correct for your one-time charges. The Transaction Date will default to the same date as when you first entered the hotel expense. Next, enter the Amount of your dinner, and then press Save. Note that there is a remaining amount that needs to be itemized. For the last itemization, you will see how to enter a miscellaneous expense for an in-room movie. Press the + symbol. In the Search field, enter Misc for Miscellaneous, and then press the Miscellaneous expense type. For miscellaneous expenses, it's helpful to use the Business Purpose field to enter a description for the expense. Press Business Purpose, and then enter in-room movie. Next, enter the Amount for the movie, and then press Save. Press the Back arrow to return to the Itemizations screen. The Remaining Amount is now $0 and your hotel itemization is complete.
