Making Approval Decisions for Modular Questionnaires in Process Projects in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch category manager Joe Ortiz make approval decisions for modular questionnaires in process projects. Hi, I'm Joe. In this scenario, I'll approve a new modular questionnaire in a process project. The questionnaire I need to approve is part of a qualification process, so I can access it in either the Qualifications or Processes detail area of the supplier profile. I'll go to the Qualifications area. Next, I'll view the process that's in progress. Then, I'll take action on the questionnaire that's pending approval. On the questionnaire details page, I'll scroll down to the tasks area, then take action on the task that's in approval. I'll scroll down to view the questionnaire responses. To make an approval decision, I'll scroll to the top of the page. I have three options: approve the questionnaire, deny it, or request additional information from the recipient. I have no questions or concerns about the responses, so I'll approve the questionnaire. The approval task and associated questionnaire have been approved. In this scenario, I'll approve an update to a modular questionnaire in a process project. First, I'll navigate to the Processes area. Next, I'll view the process. On the process details page, I'll take action on the questionnaire that's pending approval. On the questionnaire details page, I'll take action on the task that's in approval. I'll scroll down to view the questionnaire responses. By default, I see the responses to the entire questionnaire. Questions with updated responses are shaded in blue. To focus only on the updated responses, I'll choose Updated. To make an approval decision, I'll scroll to the top of the page. I have two options: approve the updated questionnaire or request additional information from the recipient. Although the updated answers aren't as desirable as the previous answers, they're still good enough. I'll approve the questionnaire. The approval task and associated questionnaire changes have been approved. You've now learned how to make approval decisions for modular questionnaires in process projects. Thanks for watching.
