Managing Corporate Discounts in SAP Concur

You use Corporate Discounts to manage discounts for the global distribution system (GDS) and Triplink vendors. Before you begin your updates, prepare the following information: Vendor, Vendor reference level, discount codes from the vendor (optional). Discount codes should be, loaded in the same PCC as the configuration, and used in the GDS to retrieve your negotiated rates. Discount codes should also have the fares and rates loaded in the GDS prior to being shown in SAP Concur. To access Corporate Discounts, place your mouse pointer over Administration. Click on the drop-down arrow. Select Company Admin. Scroll down to view the Travel Administration section. Select Manage Corporate Discounts. From the View Travel Discounts page, you will have the option to add your discounts at a company-wide level or to a specific configuration. If your company is supported by more than one GDS, you will have the option to select which GDS your discounts should apply to. Choose the appropriate options from the drop-down lists. Once your selections are made, you can add or modify vendor discounts for air (including system-wide and company -wide discounts), hotel (including hotel chains, property -specific hotels, and hotel consortiums), car, and rail. For this example, you will see how to add a new hotel vendor. Scroll down to view the Hotel Vendor section. Select Add Hotel Chain Discount. For each of the hotel discounts, you can view the fields that are available. Note that optional information is not required to save a discount. Super chains have a pink background, major chains have a yellow background, and vendors that are not available in the GDS have a green background. Select the vendor from the drop -down menu. This is the vendor that locates the hotel in the TMC GDS platform. Use the Preference Level drop-down menu to select the appropriate preference for this vendor. The level you select will be reflected to the end user when they book travel in SAP Concur. Complete the remaining fields as needed. Note that the Triplink Discount Code will only be visible if Triplink is enabled. Use the Valid From and Valid Until fields to specify a date range for the contracted rates. These fields are optional. Select Save. The new hotel vendor is displayed. If you are assigned the Travel System Admin role, you can also Add property-specific hotel discounts in bulk by using an Excel template file. Navigate to this feature from the Travel System Admin> Import Hotel Discounts link, located in the left menu. You can also modify an existing vendor. Select the vendor's name to edit the discount details. For this example, you will see how to modify the discounts' validity date. System administrators can also create a custom sort so that search results are returned by company preference. From the left menu, go to Company Configuration. Select the appropriate Company Travel Configuration. Scroll to Sorting. Select the Vendor's drop-down arrow. Additionally, you can also hide vendors that are not preferred within your travel policy. Use the Travel Rule Builder by navigating to Travel Admin, Travel Administration, Travel Rule Builder to set up your travel policies. This concludes the demo thank you for watching
