Managing Merchant Code Mapping in SAP Concur

You use the Company Card feature to assign merchant code mapping. To access Company Card, place your mouse pointer over Home. Select Tools. Select Company Card. Select the Merchant Code Mapping tab. The Merchant Code Mapping tool allows you to assign Merchant Category Codes (MCC) to Standard Industry Codes (SIC) to expense types. The mapping is used to set the default expense type for imported credit card transactions. The Status column indicates if an expense type has a merchant category code mapped. To review the codes mapped to an expense type, select an Expense Type listed as mapped. Select an Expense Type. Select Modify. You will see a list of codes that are mapped to this expense type. You can use the Map, New, Modify, and Unmap buttons to adjust the mappings. To unmap a code, select the code to unmap. You can use the Ctrl key to select multiple codes. Select Unmap. Select Yes. Select Return to Merchant Code Mapping. To map codes to an expense type, select an Expense Type. Select Modify. Select Map New. Select the code to map. Use the Ctrl key to select multiple codes. Select Map. You can modify merchant codes and assign them to travel policies. Select the Merchant Code. Select Modify. You can use the Default Mapping All Policies for Code pop-up to select an Expense Category, Default Expense Type, Vendor Category, and Vendor for the merchant code. Select Save to save any changes, or cancel to exit without saving. The default merchant code is now mapped to the expense category and type that you selected. This concludes the video.
