Manually Adjusting Transaction Statuses in Open Payment Framework for SAP Commerce Cloud

Hello, in this video, we will demonstrate how to manually adjust the transaction status in LPF. This manual status editing capability may be useful for transactions that have encountered issues, which are then resolved offline, or in other words, outside of the systems involved in the transaction. This allows agents to ensure that the order fulfillment process can continue once issues have been taken care of. Here in the transactions view, we have a transaction in OPF where a settlement request failed. The issue was that the recurrent authorization had already captured the payment. We can see in Stripe, the payment service provider, that the transaction has already been successfully captured. While we are here, we will also copy the PSP reference to this transaction, as we will need this in a moment. Back in OPF, an employee can now open the transaction. The transaction status is currently set to failed. Directly next to this status, we can see an edit button that allows a user to change this value. As we know the transaction was successful, we can update the status accordingly and leave a reason for our change, which is important for auditing purposes. We can also paste the PSP reference we copied a moment ago and save our changes. Thank you.
