MRP Change Management - SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing

Hello and welcome to openSAP Microlearning about MRP change management. Do you want to know how to do MRP rescheduling, create, and manage change requests, and evaluate change results? If the answer is yes, then this session is right for you. I'm Markus, Markus Oertelt, from SAP engineering. This microlearning covers the following: How to schedule MRP rescheduling, check to collect MRP rescheduling information, how to create and send MRP change requests and also manage them. Last but not least, you will learn how to react to MRP change requests. Alright, let's take a look at the system. The first step we want to check in the system MRP material coverage, the initial situation. We go into the app, monitor material coverage and we want to manage the material. And here in the stock requirements list, we see that we have a quantity of 1,134 pieces and 490 pieces are at the 1st of December. So next, we need to initiate the MRP rescheduling check. And here I do it manually for our material TG0011 I decrease the stock by 500 pieces. So here I choose Scrapping and actually 600 pieces. Here, the cost center is manufacturing and I want to post this. So I just scrapped 600 pieces. The material document is also seen here, and that decreased our stock to 534 pieces. Next thing we want to do, we go into the Check Material Coverage app again with our material, TG0011. Here in the stock requirements list, we want to check the quantity which is 534, as you can see. And here,  for the first independent requirement and below, we land in the minus. So we need to change the MRP. So here we first have to schedule a job for the check or the rescheduling of the MRP. And here in the template, we give a name and the scheduling options. It's a single run already. Here in the parameters, we have to specify the MRP plant, which is 1010 in our case. And the material is TG0011. Then we want to schedule the whole thing because we need to reschedule as we do not have enough material on stock to produce everything. And here you can see that this rescheduling has been carried out. Then the next step we want to do is  we go into the Create MRP Change Requests. Here we have the two purchase orders items you can see them. And the proposed date is the 6th of September and the 1st of December. And by selecting them and creating and clicking on the create change requests, we created a change request. So that change request is seen here in the Manage Change Requests MRP for all app. And by clicking on it, we can set to request it. And with that click, we can also check the request now. And here you can see that the original delivery date changed accordingly. So we can accept that. With that, we accepted the change. And you can see here with a new purchase order items, we are not in the red anymore. And our stock requirements list looks a little bit better.
