Renewing Supplier Management Processes in SAP Ariba Supplier Management

In this video, you'll watch category manager Joe Ortiz renew a supplier management process in a supplier's profile. Hi, I'm Joe. As a qualification process initiator, I can renew a qualification process project in either the Qualifications or Processes detail area of the supplier profile. In this scenario, I'll navigate to the Processes area. First, I'll find the process I want to renew. Then, I'll start the renewal. During renewal, I can update specific questions in the process intake form. A renewal always applies to the same commodities, regions, and departments as the original process, so I cannot change those values. However, I can update other questions, such as those about the expiration and reminder schedules. I'll update the expiration reminder offset. Then, I'll move to the next step. On this page, I'll choose questionnaires to include in the process renewal. The system automatically selects questionnaires that were included in the previous process and those that are required. I cannot uncheck the required questionnaires. Both existing questionnaires for this process are reusable. I'll request updates by sliding the toggle switch for both questionnaires. I'll choose Next to proceed to the next step. I can update the recipient for any questionnaire by choosing Change recipient next to the questionnaire. Since Miguel Rodriguez is the appropriate recipient for each questionnaire, I won't make any changes. I'll skip adding an optional message to questionnaire recipients. Finally, I'll choose Send and confirm that I want to create the process renewal. I've successfully renewed a supplier management process. You've now learned how to renew a supplier management process in a supplier's profile. Thanks for watching.
