Setting up Lead Aging Alert in SAP Sales Cloud

In this video, you'll learn how to set up and test a Lead Agent Alert. Setup for configuring Lead Agent Alert properties is performed by the administrator. I'll begin by navigating to the top right corner and click on Profile. The administrator generally has more settings than the business user. On the left, you'll see additional work centers for the administrator than a business user will usually have. Next, let's review the configuration options. Here, an administrator can view the project and open the activity list. The activity list displays what needs to be configured versus what's already been configured. To begin, I'll search for an activity called Lead Aging. I'll click on All Activities and type the word LEAD in the search field. Several Lead Agent Activities display. I'll select Business Task Management for a Lead Agent Manager alert. This alert will be set up whenever there's a lead. A hyperlink will display here when the lead has been in an unqualified status for an extended amount of time and needs to be pursued. I'll set the default priority as high for that lead, which will activate 10 days after this creation date. I'll change the activation date to five minutes. To save my changes, I'll click on Save and Close. For testing purposes, I'll log out as the administrator and create a lead. To create a lead, I'll log in as the sales rep. On the home page, I'll select the plus sign and click on Lead. I'll use an existing account and complete the required fields. For testing purposes, I'm not going to qualify the lead, so the alert will occur. I'm going to leave the qualification level field blank. If you recall, the alert is for Unqualified. I'll click Save and Open. Next, I'll click on the Products tab to add some products. I'll complete the fields and click on the Add button. I'll click Close. To test, I'll wait five minutes. Now, I'll log out as a sales rep. I'll log in as the sales director to check the notifications displayed at the top of the page. If you don't see the notifications you're looking for, click on the refresh icon. Here you can see the notification that I previously set up as a sales rep. Lead Mountain Bikes is an unqualified status for an extended period of time and should be pursued. I'll select this notification which will navigate the sales director to the lead itself. Here, I can see that the lead is not qualified and the products have been added.
