Setting up Validation in SAP Sales and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

In this video, you will learn how to create validations to check field values. First, navigate to the User menu and select System Settings. Then navigate to All Settings and find the Extensibility Settings group. Choose Extensibility Administration. The system opens a new screen and displays a list of all business entities in the left panel. These entities are grouped by services. Select Opportunity Service, then choose Opportunity and navigate to the Validations tab. Choose Create, then using Forms to launch the new Validation Editor tab. In the header, maintain the name and description of this validation. For example, enter Expected Net Amount as the name and Expected Net Amount must be greater than zero as the description. In the Condition block, first select Field, which in this use case is Expected Net Amount. Then choose the Comparison operator equal. target comparison can be either fixed value or another field for this use case select value and enter zero zero zero as the amount if needed you can remove a condition by selecting the X button and add a condition by selecting the add button in the action tab you can choose either an error or a warning message. Select Show Error and maintain the following message. Expected net amount must be greater than zero. Click Save to activate your settings. A green success message will appear at the top of the screen. Congratulations! Now you know how to create validations to check field values effectively.
