Systems and Provisioning in SAP for ME - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Hello everyone, warm welcome to Microlearning on how to request systems and provisioning in SAP for Me. I am Dhanashree. I am part of SAP S/4HANA Product Success and Cloud Co-innovation team. In this video, I will walk you through the sequence of SAP S/4HANA systems provisioning in pre-system landscape. SAP provides you with a system environment based on your business requirements. After you have signed your subscription contract for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, you can use SAP for Me to review the systems to which you are entitled according to the contract and provision them. With the existing S-User credentials and the roles you are assigned in SAP One Support Launchpad, you can log into SAP for Me with the highlighted URL. Please note, no additional roles or authorizations are required to access SAP for Me. On the home page of SAP for Me, navigate to the Systems and Provisioning dashboard and then to the Provisioning tab. Here you will see entitlements based on your contract for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and can request systems provisioning in the following sequence. First system to be requested is SAP Cloud ALM tenant. And then SAP Central business configuration tenant. Once you have received the tenant for SAP central business configuration, you can trigger the provisioning of your systems for SAP S/4HANA Cloud. That all needs to be done in the following sequence. After SAP Central Business Configuration tenant is successfully provisioned, next system in the sequence is the Starter Customizing tenant. Starter development tenant is implicitly provisioned after Starter Customizing tenant provisioning is completed. In SAP for me, there is no separate trigger for Starter development tenant provisioning. Once Starter customizing and development tenants are provisioned, Customizing tenant is available for provisioning. With the provisioning of customizing tenant, development tenant is implicitly provisioned. Next system in the sequence of provisioning is the system after which is the production system. SAP S/4HANA Cloud entitlements will remain grayed out and provisioning cannot be triggered unless SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Central Business Configuration Systems are provisioned successfully. Now, you have got the details of systems and provisioning in SAP for Me. For further learnings, please check out the OpenSAP Courses and SAP Help Portal. Thank you.
