Unauthorized Error While Login in Central Business Configuration in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Hello and welcome to microlearning. This microlearning video will help you to understand different reasons behind unauthorized error while login in CBC or S/4 systems and how to rectify this. Myself, Akshay Kahare, I am a SAP S/4HANA Cloud product expert from Product Success and Cloud Co-Innovation team. When a new user is created in non-productive IAS system, admin must assign user groups to the new user. To add user groups, select the user and go to user details. Now go to user group tab and select button add groups. Select Require Groups and save. Once user is created, systems send an email to the user for activation of user profile. User can even set their password via activation link. Once the user is activated, status of the user in IAS user management changes from new to active. Further admin runs user sync job in IPS which needs to be run from the source system. IPS offers two types of sync jobs. Resync job for full user sync. Read job for Delta User sync. Once the job run is complete, user can login into the CBC system. There are majorly three reasons behind unauthorized error. If user group is not assigned to user profile. If sync job is not performed in IPS. If user is not activated via email link before running IPS job. To rectify the error, make sure you perform all activities mentioned and can redo the steps in sequence. We hope you enjoyed this microearning video.
