Using a Service Request Application in SAP for Me

Today, I'm going to show you how to use service request application in SAP for Me. To locate or access service request card or application, log on to SAP for Me via me.sap.com using your SAP Universal ID or S-User ID with valid authorization. Please note that the S-user ID must have Display Service Request, Create Service Request, and Create Billable Service Authorizations to access the Service Request Card. To request an authorization, use the self-service request and please refer to this KBA note 2891528. Or reach out directly to your company administrator, which you can find under My Important Contacts. Kindly refer to this KBA 1271517. Moving on, you'll find the dashboard on the left-hand side. This is your main navigation element in SAP for Me. Click Services and Support Dashboard. Then, you will see multiple tabs at the top of the page where you can find Service Request Card. Click Service Request Card. Here you will find All Requests. These are the requests submitted by all users in your company, while you will see the request you submitted under My Request. There is an option to filter by area and status, or even search specific service requests using service request ID and take action. To create or submit a new service request, click New Service Request on the right-hand side of your screen. You can also view closed service requests under View Closed tab. The last option in the Service Request card is to export the list to Excel. You can do this by clicking the three-dot menu at the top right of that card and click Export. If by any chance you encounter any issues with the service request card or application in SAP For Me, create a case for component XX-SER-FORME with supporting screenshots and details to be checked further by the support team. For the guided steps instructions on how to create a case, please refer to KBA 1296527. Thank you for watching this tutorial video, We hope you found it helpful.
