Using Offline Booking to Request Travel in SAP Concur

Using Offline Booking to Request Travel In Concur Request, you can use an offline booking process to book your trip segments. After you complete the expected expenses for your request, and your manager approves it, a confirmation email is sent to the booking agency with the travel details needed to issue your reservation. In the following example, you will see how to book a trip to Seattle, Washington for client training using an offline booking process. To begin, from the SAP Concur home page, on the Quick Task bar, select New...  and then select Start a Request. On the Create New Request page, complete the required fields (indicated with an asterisk), and any additional fields as directed by your company... and then select Create Request. Your request is created. Next, you will add your trip details and estimated amount for each expense. In the Expected Expenses section, select Add. In the Add Expected Expense window, you will see a list of expense types that you can select from. For this example, select the Hotel expense type. On the New Expense screen, complete the required and optional fields... and then select Save. When you have completed all of your Expected Expenses, select Submit Request... and then select Accept and Continue. The request is submitted and pending approval. An email is automatically sent to the travel agency to book the travel reservations. To view the expected expenses for your trip, select the request. Your expected expenses are listed and once your manager approves the request, a confirmation email is sent to the travel agency with any changes or deletions in the agency bookings. The travel agency will then send the travel itinerary to you via email. You can verify that the email was sent to the travel agency in the audit trail. To access the audit trail, select the Request Details drop down arrow... and then select Audit Trail. Note that depending on your company's configuration, you might have a different offline booking process, where the submitted request changes to a Pending Agency Update status. The request is then updated by the travel agency with the actual reservation details prior to routing your report for manager approval.
