Viewing Reports in SAP Customer Data Cloud

Welcome to this video on viewing Reports  in SAP Customer Data Cloud.  In this video, you will get an overview of the Reports section in the console.  This will include User Identities,  the Identity Query tool,  and Customer Insights features.   In the console, find the reports section  on the left-hand menu.  Expand it to see the three reporting features  that provide user information:  User Identities, the Identity Query Tool,  and Customer Insights.  User Identities is automatically  the first report in the menu.   The User Identities report can be used to view the number of newly registered users per day, the distribution of newly registered users  by the provider through which they registered, the number of daily logins per day,  and the distribution of logged-in users  by the provider through which they logged in during the selected period.   To create a report, select a date range  by choosing one of the options  in the date range drop-down menu.  If you prefer a custom date range,  set a start and end date,  then choose Apply.  You can customize each panel on the dashboard to view information with different charts and export the data to a CSV.  Next, choose the Identity Query Tool report page.  The Identity Query Tool is intuitive and dynamic  for searching and retrieving users' profile data  and metadata.   Identity Query tool features  include the Query Builder and Query Text.   The Query Builder enables you to create a search query  using simple drop-down menus.   The field selection menus display a tree  that reflects the user profile schema.   The Query Text section allows you to enter a text-based,  SQL-like "select" query.   The text area of the query is auto-filled  with the selected query from the Query Builder.   Each modification in the Query Builder  is automatically reflected in the Query Text.   Now, let’s choose Customer Insights.   The Customer Insights report page  uses statistics collected by your site  and stored in the SAP Customer Data Cloud  to generate analytics on users,  including your users’ social data, using customizable filters to segment and cross-segment users.   You can view data on the page  using the highlight and demographics tabs.   Each dashboard displays several panels  reflecting specific audience characteristics.   By default, an audience in Customer Insights  includes all users.  To display the number of users in an audience segment,  hover your cursor over that segment.   The information in each data pane  is based on the audience members whose user profiles contain relevant data.   A note at the bottom of the data pane  tells you the percentage of queried users  on which the information was based  or entered that information.   To display data for a specific set of users,  choose Set Filters and select a filter  from the dropdown.   To apply one or more filters to an audience,   choose Create Custom Filter  and select from multiple criteria,  for example, all females in college,   then choose Apply.  In addition, customer Insights filters  can be exported to the Identity Query Tool.   After selecting the filters,  choose the gear icon and select Open in Identity Query Tool  to output your filters there.   This concludes our video on viewing Reports  in SAP Customer Data Cloud.   Thank you for watching.
