Working with Account Management Capabilities in SAP Sales Cloud

Now let's look at an account. Account management capabilities offer a holistic view of the customer and allow you to capture, monitor, store, and track all critical business information about customers, prospects, and partners. You can see the accounts listed in a table view, but we can also look at accounts in different views like chunk, map, or calendar view. Additionally, you can search for different details of the account. You can look at accounts by industry. The chart function showcases the data in different charts. You can choose the data and it sums up all the accounts listed under the added collective term. You can filter or add new accounts. There's also an export function where you can export any table data into Excel if you need to. When you open one of these accounts, the first half of the page shows the header area. It showcases the most important data of the account, the status, address, the owner of the account, how it is classified, their expertise in that industry, their territory if they are in the sales territory, and more details a sales representative might need to know, for example, the revenue. The tabs directly below the header area are called facets. Each facet has its own related data or can have its own related data. You can create tabs directly from an account. You can also see the account team that is assigned to the account as well as any sales related documents they might have. Each business document that you open is going to have a set of actions that you can perform just based on what the data is. You can also see an account summary which is going to show you a view of all the data together on a pdf document.
