Working with Currency Admin in SAP Concur

During this video, you will use the Currency Admin feature to select the available reimbursement currencies for your system and define exchange rate settings. Select Administration then Expense. In Expense Admin, select Currency Admin. Select Add Currency. You will see a list of reimbursement currencies that are available in your system. You can add and remove items from this list. To add a reimbursement currency, select Add Currency. Browse for and select the reimbursement currencies to add. Select Add. To remove a currency, select the appropriate checkbox and select Remove Currency. Select the Settings tab. Use the Settings tab to control how your system defines and uses exchange rates. The Use Currently Loaded Exchange Rates setting activates automatic currency conversion in the system. If you do not select this setting, the system will not use the exchange rates to convert foreign amounts to reimbursement amounts. Local exchange rates are rates that you have imported through a file import process. External exchange rates are rates that the system automatically imports from a web-based source. Select the Exchange Rate Source drop-down arrow. You can configure the system to use external exchange rates only or to use local exchange rates only. You also have the option to search local then external source. With this method, the system first looks for an exchange rate that you have imported. If it cannot find one, it uses the web source. Select the appropriate option RC2. The Exchange Rate Markup, Percentage Setting, allows you to specify the degree to which users can adjust the exchange rate for expense entries provided by the system. Instead of entering the amount of the expense in a foreign currency and converting it to the user's default currency, you use the Allow Inversion of Currency Rate Pairs setting to enter the amount of an expense in the default currency. The system will convert it into the foreign currency amount. Select Save. This concludes the demo.
