Working with Expense Assistant in SAP Concur

Working with Expense Assistant  Expense Assistant adds all expenses from your Available Expenses list to any open expense report. An open report can be a user-created expense report or an expense report that is auto-created by Expense Assistant. Your company administrator activates Expense Assistant, and then they might have it automatically create monthly expense reports, trip-based expense reports, or both. Expense Assistant will continue to add incoming expenses that have a date that matches the calendar month of the expense report. Once you enable Expense Assistant, you can access your automatically created reports on the Expense page. To view your reports, select Expense from the dropdown menu at the top of your screen, or you can select Open Reports from the My Tasks section on the SAP Concur home page. For this example, select Open Reports. Expense Assistant names an automatically created expense report for each month and imports any expenses that occur. You can modify the report as needed. In this example, you will see how to submit the October Expenses report that was automatically created by Expense Assistant. Select the October Expenses report to open it. Fix any alerts and add your cash advances if available. Add, edit, or delete the necessary expenses and attach any required receipts before submitting your report for approval. When you are done modifying the report, select Submit Report. Review the report totals, and if everything looks correct, select Submit Report. And then, in the Report Status window, select Close. The report is now submitted and pending approval from your manager. If there are additional same month expenses that are imported into the system, they will be added to the newly created report. Any expenses that you delete from the report will be listed in the Available Expenses section, which can be found at the bottom of your Report Library. Expense Assistant will not place them on another report. If there is a duplicate expense, such as an Expensit Entry, Expense Assistant will match existing entries to your reports, including those with a returned status.
