Working with Expense Report Exceptions in Android with SAP Concur

Working with Expense Report Exceptions - Android  Exceptions appear when your expense report contains a rule violation or is missing required information. In the following example, you will see how to review and resolve exceptions to help approvers and expense processors understand the exceptions so they can complete their reviews. In this example, the expense report contains two exceptions. Press the Alerts notification at the top of the screen to view the details. Exceptions can be Alerts or Warnings. Alerts indicate an error that you must correct before you can submit your expenses. Warnings are informational and indicate that you have violated a policy and that your expense might receive additional review. Exceptions that are visible to you will also be visible to the approver and expense processor. After reviewing your exceptions, press the Back arrow. To correct or explain the reason for an exception, press the entry. For this example, press the Dinner expense. The Dinner expense exception is a warning and contains an informational message. For this type of exception, you are not required to make any changes. However, you can add additional information in the Comment field to help approvers and expense processors understand the exception so they can approve it. Scroll down to enter an explanation for the warning. Press Comment... And then press the + icon. Enter your explanation for why you have exceeded your meal limit... and then press Done. Press the back arrow to return to the Expense screen... and then press Save. Now you will see how to clear an Alert exception. Press the Airfare expense. The expense amount was entered incorrectly and is out of policy. Enter the correct Amount... and then press Save. The alert is cleared from the Airfare expense. Note that the Warning still displays for the Dinner expense. The approver or expense processor will review the comment and either approve the report or send it back to you for additional corrections.
