Working with List Management in SAP Concur

Welcome to the List Management training video. During this video, you will use the List Management feature to manage lists of items that employees choose from when creating expense reports. To access List Management, place your mouse pointer over Home. Select Expense. Select List Management. On the list management page, notice that the vendor lists are indicated as such for each item in the list name column. You will see the number of levels for a list in the levels column in this first example you will see how to modify the vendors airlines list a single level list select Vendors-Airlines.  Select Modify. The Vendors-Airlines list is an example of a single level vendor list vendor lists contain the names of vendors that employees can choose from usually when adding expenses to their expense reports. To modify a list item, select the appropriate item. For each list item, you can modify both the item name and item code. In this example, you will see how to modify both the Item Name and Item Code. The item name is what the user sees in the dropdown list. If you opt to post this information to your accounting systems, the item code is what is posted. Select Save. The item is updated in the Vendors-Airlines list. To add a new airline list item, select the airlines folder. Select New. Enter an item name and an item code for the new list item. Select Save. The new list item now appears in the Vendors-Airlines list, and will be available for employees to select from when working with this list.  Select Done.  In the next example you will see how to work with a multi-level list. Select a list that has more than one level.  Select Modify.  The small arrow next to the folder indicates that this list item has additional subcategories.  Select the arrow to expand the folder. The subcategories appear below the list item.  You can continue expanding all of configured levels. In this example, you will see how to add a new country to the list and how to add a second level list item. To add a new country, select the folder above the new level. Select New. Enter an item name and code for the new list item. Select Save. In this example, you will see how to add a subcategory to the newly created country. When adding a subcategory to a list, make sure to select the folder above the new subcategory. Select New. Enter an item name and code for the new list item. Select Save. The new subcategory is added. Select Done. You can also use the list management tool to create new lists. Note: that in order to use a new list in the configuration, you must contact Concur to associate the new list to a field. Select New. Enter a List Name. Use the default search and display format drop -down arrows to control the behaviors of this list. Select Save. The list is automatically selected. To add items to this list, Select New.  Enter an item name and code for the new list item. Select Save. Select Done. This concludes the video. Thank you for watching.
