Working with Maintenance Plan Scheduling Overview in SAP S/4HANA Maintenance Management

Hello and welcome to Microlearning about analytical query for Maintenance Plan Scheduling Overview. My name is Olga Goncharova and I am working as a business process consultant in the area of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management. In this video you will see how you can use your app Maintenance Plan Scheduling Overview to analyze and derive insights about the proactive maintenance programs. Let's get started. Proactive Maintenance is used to ensure high availability, optimal performance and utilization of assets, and to reduce total maintenance costs by minimizing breakdowns. You can create a maintenance schedule in the form of a maintenance plan. After you have created and scheduled a maintenance plan, you as a maintenance planner can use Fiori app Maintenance Plan Scheduling Overview to view maintenance plan scheduling details as an analytical query. With this app, you can view scheduling details based on the defined selection criteria. You can save your values as variants, and also you can export them as a tile to Fiori launchpad to access the report with preset filters through a single click without having to apply filters, dimensions and measures from the beginning. The query reports the details of Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Items and Maintenance Calls. On the left-hand side, you can find the fields available for query reporting. Use dimensions and measures to display information in your report. The fields can be selected for display or can be hidden from the report. The key measures are based on maintenance call and the status, such as Scheduled Calls, Calls on Hold, Locked, Released or Completed. You are also able to filter on dimensions and measure values. The fields can be dragged and dropped to change the position. You also have the possibility to filter on column level and to view analysis results through graphical representation. You can save your report layout as variant. The query output can be downloaded. This is a Web Dynpro app, which uses the CDS view, Maintenance Plan Scheduling. You can find more information about the CDS view at SAP Help Portal.
