Working with the Purchase Order Processing Tool in SAP Concur

After a purchase request is processed, the purchase request is turned into one or more purchase orders. Each purchase order is generated from an item that makes up the parent request. As a purchase order processor, you will review purchase orders for buying details, such as correct shipping method and terms, preferred suppliers and other details. Use the Change View button to view all purchase orders or only those that require processing or vendor approval. Use the Change Group button to filter the purchase orders by group. To search for specific purchase orders, you can use the search fields to specify search criteria. To open a purchase order, select the Purchase Order checkbox. Select the Actions drop-down menu. Select Open Purchase Order. Review all required fields. Use the links to view images, associated requests, and the audit trail. Notice that the current status of the purchase order is pending transmission. Depending on your configuration, as the purchase order processor, you can edit certain details such as vendor information and items. After reviewing an order, you can preview, send back, void or transmit the purchase order. Use the Actions button to send a purchase order back for correction or to void the order. To preview a purchase order, select Preview. In the Preview Purchase Order window, you can preview the purchase order and update the email details. Enter the appropriate email address. Select Transmit. The purchase order is sent to the vendor via email. After transmission, the status of the purchase order will change to Transmitted to Vendor and the purchase order is ready to be matched to an invoice. This concludes the demo thank you for watching.
