Use Generative AI to Write a Feed Post

SAP Build Work Zone includes built-in generative AI that can help you draft text directly in your workspace. In this step, you’ll use it to compose a status update in your Feed widget.

1. Scroll to the Feed widget.

2. Click the Generate text with AI icon (sparkle icon).

   

3. In the Ask AI field, type the following prompt and click the Send icon:

   Write a short status update to let the sales team know that our new Sales Management workspace is ready to use.

   

4. Review the AI-generated text. You have three options:

   Option	Description
   Accept	Use the generated text as your post
   Retry	Generate a new version from the same prompt
   Discard	Clear the suggestion and start fresh

   

5. Click Accept. The text appears in the input field where you can edit it further if needed.

   

6. Click Share to post the update to your workspace feed.

   

Use Generative AI to Write a Comment

You can also use AI text generation when responding to existing feed entries.

1. Scroll to the feed entry you just posted and click Comment.

2. Click the Generate text with AI icon in the comment input field.

3. Enter the following prompt:

   Write a short reply welcoming the team to the workspace.

4. Select Accept.

   

5. Edit if needed, and click Post

   

6. You have now used generative AI to create content directly in your workspace feed.
