Subscribing to SAP Build Code in the Dev Subaccount

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to subscribe to SAP Build Code in the Dev subaccount to start the process of developing an application.

Step 1: Subscribing to SAP Build Code in the Dev Subaccount

Four Steps for Developing an Application in SAP Build Code

Before you can develop an application in SAP Build Code, first you must subscribe to SAP Build Code.

Note

This video uses the Booster capability because SAP Build Code is available in the Boosters catalogue. In addition to subscribing to SAP BTP services, the Booster automatically checks and assigns the required service quota to a target subaccount and creates and assigns the required role collections to a user.

Summary

  • SAP Build Code subscription is required before you can start developing applications in SAP Build Code.

  • The Booster automates service subscription, quota assignment, and role collection setup for your chosen subaccount.

  • Use the Boosters menu in SAP BTP Cockpit to find and start the "Get Started with SAP Build Code" booster.

  • After completion, verify your subscription, entitlements, and assigned role collections in the subaccount settings.
