The standard SAP component Central Address Management (BC-SRV-ADR) uses the postal regional structure to check and allocate addresses.
Since both the political and the company regional structures are linked to the postal regional structure, there is an indirect link between the political and company regional structures.
The different regional structure categories are not limited to the same physical space. For example, one element of the company structure can overlap with several parts of the postal structure.
